Faculty Housing

Faculty housing was originally built in September of 1876, starting with 5 professors' residences at a cost of $3,000 each. The original housing along Throckmorton Street became known as "Quality Row." Over time three of the original five brick homes were demolished and replaced with frame homes, and all were removed in 1948 to make way for a park. The area is now part of Aggie Park.
