Importing media into SAGE - WITHOUT Rancher

  1. Ensure SAF is written for the collection. Send the SAF to be uploaded to Fedora prod.

  2. Once SAF is on Fedora prod (and by extension Fedora Solr), you must create a reader. Choose Production Fedora Core Source as the source and for the filter, enter hasParent:"{link to Fedora prod collection}"

  3. Add field mappings onto the reader.

  1. Create a new job. Select relevant reader and writer. Select operators, which may include Collection Default, Application Type, ID Base 64 Encoding, Origin URL Regex Replace, Manifest Template, and Build CAP edit link. Select “yes” for Active and “On Demand” for Frequency.

  2. Run the job. Under Discovery view, select Production SAGE Core as the source and for Filter, enter collection:"{link to Fedora prod collection}" Create a slug.

  3. Under the Facets tab, select and enter:
